Our story

Ahmed “Alex,” originally from Alexandria, Egypt, and Stephanie, raised in Houston, Texas, met in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2011 and married the following year. Today they live in Panama City Beach with their four children — Aliyah, Zane, and twins Gabe and Nora — along with their Doberman, Cairo.

Alex is a lifelong entrepreneur who has built and operated several successful businesses before the family relocated to the Emerald Coast in 2017. Stephanie’s professional background developed in structured financial and regulatory environments, and today her primary expertise lies in vacation rental operations, compliance, and the systems required to responsibly manage high-performing rental properties.

Together they founded what has grown into The Guardian Real Estate, a boutique brokerage and management firm serving Florida’s Emerald Coast.

Guardian was built around a simple philosophy: real estate ownership deserves disciplined stewardship, thoughtful oversight, and a management team that treats every property with the same care and attention they would give their own. Our clients work with a locally based team that understands both the operational demands of rental property and the long-term importance of protecting these assets.

We combine the systems and operational discipline of larger firms with the accountability, accessibility, and personal attention that only a boutique company can provide.
